Kabir says,
“Be in the world.
Don’t be of this world, but be in this world, live in the world.
Live ordinary situations,
where everything is a provocation to make you unconscious,
and where everyone
helps you to be conscious.”
These images are part of The City: object of Meditation, body of work. They function as symbols of observation and contemplation — meditations on the structures of our cities and the presence of nature within them, and ourselves as creators of these environments.
The images dissolve clear boundaries and generate a unique atmosphere, where the line between the inner and outer world dissolved. Within this dreamlike space, the city becomes an excuse, an object of meditation for awareness, inviting consciousness to arise from what is ordinary and often overlooked in our lives as a human being.
